Frequently asked questions
What does ATH Radar do?
It tracks how far your favorite cryptocurrencies are from their all-time high (ATH) and alerts you the moment a tracked coin sets a new record.
How do the new-ATH alerts work?
ATH Radar compares each tracked coin against the highest price it has seen before. If a coin exceeds its previous all-time high, you get a notification and a celebration screen. Turn on Settings → Check in background and iOS will also wake the app periodically to check while you’re not using it. Note: iOS decides that timing based on battery and how often you use the app, and it won’t run while the app is force-quit — so background alerts are best-effort rather than instant.
Where does the price data come from?
Live prices, charts, and all-time-high figures come from the public CoinGecko API. Data may be delayed or occasionally unavailable; pull down to refresh.
Why does a coin say “52% below ATH”?
That’s how far the current price sits below the coin’s all-time-high price. When it reaches 0% you’re at a new record.
I’m not getting notifications.
Make sure notifications are enabled for ATH Radar in iOS Settings → Notifications → ATH Radar, and that you tapped “Allow” when first prompted. You can also use Settings → Simulate ATH alert in the app to preview an alert.
How do I add or remove coins?
Tap the + on the Markets screen to search or pick from trending coins. To remove one, long-press isn’t needed — manage your list from the same Add screen (tracked coins show a check).
Is my data private?
Yes. There’s no account and nothing is collected — your watchlist lives only on your device. See the Privacy Policy for details.
